This is a group for those who love hiking, walking and the countryside. Outings will be scheduled every four to eight weeks, and will be based around the smaller villages of Hertfordshire. I want the meet ups to be fun, enjoyable and allow everyone to make new friends while doing something they enjoy! I started this group as I find it difficult to meet people of my own age group who enjoy walking, socialising and other interests. Walks will be of various lengths between 6 and 12 miles and in and around London and the South East, for walks further out we can meet at a station and travel together. Ideas for walks include the London Loop which I have not done for several years, the Capital Ring and perhaps some coastal walks.
